    Pumpkin soup :
    roast the pumpkin ( to soften and give lil kick on the flavour add a pinch of pink salt and butter on the pumpkin ).Heat butter in a large saucepan over the med heat and add onion and cook for 4-5 mins until soft add garlic and roasted pumpkin and add the stock and 500 ml water then bring to boil 25-30 mins . once done either use masher to mash it or put in blender and run it until smooth paste and serve with dollop of yoghurt

    30 min Anulom vilom
    30 min kapalbhati
    30 min walking

    Diet
    Amla + aloevera + water
    1 garlic clove
    10 curry leaves
    10 Almonds
    1 aloo paratha
    1 nariyal pani
    3 chapati + Dal Palak + Lauki ka raita+ mango
    1 cup tea
    2 chapati + Torai + karonda mirch

    30 mins walk after dinner

    8 glasses of water

    Hi friends, so all of us started with clean diet, I cant login daily but i will try to update my foodlog.

    3rd aug
    BF :1 cup museli with milk
    MM : 1 apple
    lunch : 3 idly's + brahmi leaves & dhal
    evng : boiled groundnut
    dinner : 1 boiled egg + 1 glass milk
    water 2.5 lts

    workouts
    cardio 45 mins
    toning & strengthening exercises with resistance 45 mins.

    4th aug
    BF : 1 cup museli with milk
    MM : 1 boiled egg
    Lunch : 3 idly's + thokku + rajma
    evng : little veg fried rice( tempting while cooking itself)
    dinner : 1 small pulka + tawa chicken & vegetables ( thought of skipping dinner but my hubby made tawa chic & veggies, so cant resist)

    water 2.5 lts
    workouts
    cardio 35 mins
    core exercises 30 mins

    5th aug
    BF : 1 pulka + boiled egg + milk
    MM : little chicken briyani ( my hubby made & brought when cmg to pick me up from gym)
    lunch : little chic briyani + 1 chic65
    dinner : 2 dosai + red chutney + milk
    water 2.5 lts

    workouts
    cardio 45 mins
    abs workout with swiss ball
    All three days i did 10 mins stretching.

    I know my diet was bad on 5th , then too i will surely will follow it.

    About motivation & inspiration,

    It's my hubby who motivates me a lot.
    After 13 long years our collegemates v all met last saturday, u wont believe guys , me & one more friend was looking young & good looking, all were like aunties, too big in sizes. Everyone exclaimed how do u maintain like this? My hubby only came to drop me in that place, he said you r looking too good dear , see how old all others r looking, i was overwhelmedgigglingsmiley.
    I reduced 8 kgs bcous of the diet & workouts. Guys, who r new here, i was a lazy person , who doesn't like to do any workouts but IL changed me, with active groups & active persons , helping out eachother , helped me a lot. Now I'm helping my friends to reduce in a happy way & not in a boring way. Now many people even in my gym say i'm their inspiration.
    Im happy i found this forum.
    Be glad, be healthy.
    Diet & workouts r for healthy living & not for slimming down.

    I am very happy for you Sujatha ... Ofcourse you dont look very old for your age and i agree with the maintenance of our women with their body after marriage ... I have yet to load my pic on Facebook ... will do my before and after pic to compare ... Can we lets have a secret facebook group to discuss and know each ...

    Bf - 1 dosai, egg gravy, coffee, 1 rusk
    Mm - lemon juice with honey
    Lunch - 1 fist rice, spinach dal, turnip poriyal
    Evening - 1/4 cup tea, 2 hands full shelled pista
    Dinner - zucchini + turnip salad med bowl, paniyaram small 3
    Water - 2 lt

    Workout - 4 miles walk

    Congratulations on your new venture.. I will also follow along with you.
    I have another tip, along with this diet you can consider having a detoxifying drink. Here is the recipe :
    1. 1 lemon
    2. 1 cucumber
    3. little piece of ginger
    4. Mint leaves

    cut cucumber, lemon, ginger and mint and infuse in 2 litres of water... let it soak for at least 3 hrs. start drinking that water. It really aids weight loss and also detoxifies your body.....
