    My first nomination for December is this snippet by @Viswamitra:
    Transition.

    Informative post. Sensitive handling of a delicate topic. I liked the straightforward presentation of fact, feelings and thoughts. Reader can take away from it so much and as little as they want to. Many are sure to file away points from the snippet for future rumination.

    I am glad Viswa wrote this snippet and share his experience with us. Would nominate more posts of his from the thread if not for saving spots to nominate posts by others. Hope to read more about his experiences on this noble and inspiring effort.

    @GeetaKashyap
    Thank you for your nominations of @Laks09 's How Do I Help A Resentful Lady? and @Gauri03 's response to it.
    What can be done if a sinking person considers the hand that has come to pull her out as a hand that has come to sink her deeper? I know it is difficult to watch someone sailing in the same boat without giving her the benefit of our experience. But if the other person simply wants to vent her feelings and is not prepared to listen to the other?
    Gauri's reading of the situation is very sensible. I fully go with her concluding sentence

    @kkrish

    My dear kk
    Thanks a lot for your nomination of Lucky Dip-a Revenge Story by @teenulahari
    Golden words kk! And I see that teenu has not failed to whet your appettite for the lighter side of life. It's a jolly version of War and Peace! If the narrative style is great, her selection of emoticons is even greater. I am listening to the story of first childhood in my second childhood! And I tell you that the first one is great fun and the second one is just chewing the cud!

    @Rihana,

    Thank you for your kind words and for considering my thread worthy of nomination here. Every one of your questions were part of the training and I felt as if you were present in a training program as a volunteer. Most of your responses here in IL impresses me always for the depth of your thoughts but this one floored me.

    @iyerviji @nandinimithun
    My dear Viji
    Thank you for your nomination of the poem Life by @GeetaKashyap
    Geeta never fails to amaze me. A Hall of Fame member in just one year of membership! There is hardly any subject that she has left untouched. This poem of hers on Life is a subject that has baffled even great minds. This poem reminds me of Adi Shankara's Bajagovindam in general and this stanza in particular:
    नलिनीदलगतजलमतितरलं
    तद्वज्जीवितमतिशयचपलम् ।
    विद्धि व्याध्यभिमानग्रस्तं
    लोकं शोकहतं च समस्तम्
    (Life is ever changing,transitory and uncertain
    As a dancing droplet on a lotus leaf
    Know, this world is prey to disease and conceit
    In constant sorrow and grief, so replete)

    The second stanza of Geeta is truly poignant. It hit me like the lines of Omar Khayyam:
    “The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
    Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
    Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
    Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.”

    This is classic stuff from Geeta. And thank you nandini for joining Viji in zeroing in on this poem for nomination.
    Sri
