I really liked A New Beginning - Purpose Of Life by @Sandyr46
Dear Viswa thanks for the nomination. Wow! IU never expected the post to trigger such a furious battle!
When there is so many divergent views on this subject, it makes the snippet much more interesting. This is a hot button topic. Sometimes, raw emotions (created by history) compromise strategic judgment of what is good for the nation in the long run.
Thank you @iyerviji for nominating my writing
I second this nomination.
My dear Viji
Thanks a lot for your nomination of For The Love Of My Language by jskls
jskls is very observant. Her statement
is very true. Only when we are far outside our own native place, we start missing it. When I was in the Bank decades back, I had a fairly long stint. I used to miss my language, my food et al. Once I met a Tamilian in Himachal Pradesh. I was in that place for a week and we spent all the time talking in Tamil despite the fact that he spoke in English with every one else.
Imagine someone explaining about Valluvar statue to a Tamilian in Hindi!
A very interesting observation this is:
The outsiders are mostly from Nepal. We find them everywhere. They are much cheaper compared to the locals and they are very hard-working too.
A good one from jskls
Thank you for your nomination of @Sandyr46 's A New Beginning - Purpose Of Life
This is also seconded by Thyagarajan, Afresh, DDream and stayblessed. Thanks a lot, friends.
This is yet again a deeply moving post. I say 'yet again' because it comes after her story of a mother's resilience last month and was declared the Winner for it. The current one is even more touching as the FBs show. She concludes her post with the words,
What more can I say?
My dear Viswa
Thanks a lot for your nomination of @Balajee 's Paradise Divided
I really loved the title and the interest that his post has generated. The post has, as expected, generated a lot of heat too. This is an academic discussion aimed at justifying or condemning the action of the Government. I am happy that the participants could at last rein in their emotions.
Thank u soo much everyone. What I wrote was straight from my heart as I experienced n thanks to all for the overwhelming response to the post.
@Cheeniya SIr i join Viswa in the nomination of Balajee's
