So here we are back again. Who are the winners of this month? Like I said, I felt like a child in a chocolate shop clutching at all the delicious fare offered to me. There is just one catch to this situation. I am allowed to eat only two sweets at any one given time. Oh dear! How I’d love to eat them all! But Momma IL won’t let me do so. I can see her waggling her finger, shaking her head at me and forbidding me such luxuries! Announcing the FPs of the month is hard for two reasons. The first one is having to choose. The second is that I face tremendous ‘writing woes’ and these are genuine ones. Unlike Iravati who talks about them but seems to be able to churn out words, sentences and posts from her computer like there is no tomorrow. If only I could borrow her brain and fingers for a short while, at least at the end of each month!!! I have no Words of Wisdom to offer, which is why I love reading posts which are a treasure trove of tips for effective living. What could one want more than to live in peace and harmony with those around us? Yet, if the threads in the Relationship Forum are anything to go by, there is no dearth of strife and pain in inter-personal relationships. Who is right and who is wrong? Can we truly say? Seen from our own perspective, of course, we are right. Look at it from the outside, as a neutral person, is it possible that it is the other way round? Or could it be that both parties are right in their own ways? It is something like this picture. What do you see? Which perspective is right and which is wrong? (Image: Courtesy Google) Well, you must have by now got what or whom I am driving at. If not, let me elaborate. The prize for the Finest Narrative of this month goes to @buddingleader for her 6 - SEEK AND SPEAK (Lean In) nominated by our very own Vijima alias @iyerviji. It is really admirable the way this couple decided to sort out their differences. I was left wishing I had been as wise when I was younger and sillier (it is all just a matter of degrees, as you can see!!!). The years have not added so much wisdom as to make a choice of FPs any easier for me. I sometimes find myself looking up heavenwards for inspiration and motivation to write something sensible here. You might notice that it is not quite forthcoming. Or maybe it is. It comes in the form of a post telling me that ACTION AND PERFORMANCE PRECEDE MOTIVATION. Now that is quite a useful tip. There is nothing like jumping into the deep end and beating one’s hands and legs. So here I am doing just that and awarding this wonderful post by @Rihana the prize for the Finest Contribution of the month. Thanks @Viswamitra for the nomination Now if all of you are still here, let me ensure that you don’t run away; it is now time to stop my ramblings. Before I do that, however, HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH THE WINNERS AND TO THE GOOD SAMARITANS WHO NOMINATED THEM from the entire FP Team. Thanks a million to all of you who nominated all those wonderful threads, each of which is a winner in itself.
Congratulations to @buddingleader and @Rihana for winning the awards for the month of October 2017. Viswa
