Finest Post Winners - July 2017

So here we are, as we step into the new month with new winners of last month’s prizes. It might sound cliché saying this, but the fact remains that it was very hard to select just two winners, what with the variety of threads that have been nominated. Some, despite their brilliance, did not lend themselves to being selected for the simple reason that the OP had already got an FP within the last 6 months or the thread was unfortunately in a forum where threads are not given a prize. From humour to memoirs to philosophical musings, we have them all. A couple of fiction features were also very interesting, and seriously if it were not in the fiction section, I’d have readily believed that those events had really happened, they mirrored reality so well.

After having scratched my head to the point where it was thought necessary that I needed some anti-lice treatment (no, not that I do, but I do tend to scratch my head when in a quandary), I felt that a friendly soul needed to be appreciated and someone who tells us that it is alright to accept ourselves as we are, certainly needs to be thanked.

So here we have the Finest Narrative Award going to teenulahiri this month for her “My Special Friend”

and the Finest Contribution Award to BeingSoulful for her thread “The Dark Inside.”
