Finest Post Winners - April 2017

Dearest friends,

This is the first time I am making the choice of winners. The nominations were a mere trickle this month, but I understand the reasons. The heat, the summer holidays ….. Despite that, I broke out into a cold sweat at the prospect of doing something that my amazing predecessors on this forum had to do with huge numbers of nominations. I can only say 'hats off' to them.

There were some rivetting posts amongst the ones nominated. But not all can be winners. So without much more ado, I shall get down to the business of announcing those who did win.

We all need a bit of a boost from time to time and Aarushi has done a sterling job of it by posting not one, but two snippets this month showing us how to stand tall in the face of adversities. If this is not boost enough, what we need is a boost of another kind …..

Where many an ordinary person would have flailed under the circumstances, she has taken it squarely in the jaw and got on with life.

Well, now that I have already broken out into a sweat trying to pick out a winner amongst some wonderful posts this month let me share a secret (or is it a secret any longer?) That is the only sweat I seem to be capable of breaking out into these days ….. not to forget that induced by the sweltering heat. We have, however, many members who think nothing of charging on full steam, be it summer or winter, to ensure they keep fit. I cannot but help let my jaw drop in disbelief and admiration when I see so many members working towards the goal of “10K Steps Challenge for 3 Months” egged on by @Prash29. I have therefore decided that the

FINEST CONTRIBUTION OF THE MONTH award should go to her and thanks @kkrish for bringing this thread to the FP forum.

I request all my friends on IL to please contribute actively to the various forums and also to bring in more nominations to the FP forum.
