I would like to nominate SGBV's post. It was good to read it and I fully agree with it. Of course it is not possible for many women to fulfill their interests, it is sad. Having A Life Outside Of Your Marriage

 

Thanks a lot for the nomination, Lakshmi. So often marriage is mistaken to be an uncleavable bond between two individuals with resulting loss of individuality, that even the thought of getting into a marriage is scary. The understanding that husband and wife are two individuals with their own personality traits, interests, characteristics who complement each other and are not a different variety of Siamese twins would go a long way in making this relationship a healthy one.

I am here to endorse the view of Smt.Jayasala in nominating @Bhargavi03's thread Parenting – A Boon Or A Curse.

Her conclusion was very practical and made me feel not so guilty about the way I raised my child. It also gave me an opportunity to review our past carefully and it was a wonderful introspection exercise.
