Thanks a lot for the nomination of this very interesting thread. When the addition of 5 simple letters and two hyphen change the image of a woman from a mother to an ogress, there is plenty of food for thought.

 

Thanks for the nomination Greenbay and shravs. Vijima is a mom to many women here. I remember the first time I met her and the wonderful time I had when she visited me in my home. Spent a wonderful two days with her. My mom was also here, though unfortunately she did not register much. If she had, she would have been delighted as she was also born and raised in Mumbai. Am sure they would have had a lot to chat and many acquaintances in common.

Thanks a lot for nominating Star25's post 'mom'. It is so beautifully written and what was really touching was to be tagged in the post. Am really glad to see so many ladies tagged in the post. It makes it more personal and creates a wonderful bond.
