Satchi , My nomination would be for @GeetaKashyap 's Who Is Mad? .

Her stories are always heart touching . A very dynamic and gripping story that just caught me thinking.

    Dear satchi,
My first nomination for the month is @GeetaKashyap’s Who Is Mad?
A thought provoking snippet, as usual geeta has a way of connecting with her readers and writing about the most sensitive issues in a most subtle and a beautiful way....

Thanks for nominating this lovely thread, Vijima. I would say Viswa is the go to person in matters spiritual, yourself for sweet stories about relationships, Cheeniya sir for his humour and literary knowledge, Iravati for language skills, Kamala for everything in and around our sun. It is really thoughtful of Viswa to start this thread which really helps bring members together and gets people appreciation for their contributions to IL.

Thanks for the nomination Vijima. It is indeed a complex problem - old age, relationships with the younger generation, taking care of parents ..... Sadly enough, I don't see how such issues can be easily solved. No matter what one does or doesn't do, there will be various judgments passed. One has to be in that situation to know where the shoe bites. Life is not simple. We all have to face whatever comes our way in the best way we can. That is all anyone can do.

Thanks for the nomination, Balajee. Perfection is something we all can strive for, but the fact remains that nothing, but nothing, is perfect. That does not mean we use that as an excuse and rest on our laurels.

Thanks @MonikaSG and @GeetaKashyap for seconding the nomination. A very worthy one indeed.

Hi Monika, thanks so much for reviving this thread. It was a hilarious read. Mysore paks are my favourite sweet, but no one taught me to make them the traditional way. So I now buy them from Suswaad in Chennai whenever I have an opportunity and those are the only ones I like.
