finally started upperlip threading

Hi Girls,
i have so much facial hair and am scared of going to the laser hair removal process because of the side effect that it can stimulate more hair on the face. Hence finally i tried upperlip threading last month. When i tried first time , i felt so happy when i looked by upperlip without any hair. But i noticed that the hair coming back with in a week that disappointed me so much. I was reading the the posts and so many people mentioned that we don't need to bother about the hair for atleast 2 to 3 weeks after threading.
However in my case i started to see hair around 5 th day after the threading. Can anybody see the hair coming back this fast? Usually how often do you go for threading? With this again i am feeling like laser would be good instead of threading.
