How about wearing Gujarati style saree..it looks good and doesn't expose the navel..I guess it's comfortable too.. Just ignore that guy, he was trying to grab ur attention the wrong way..such weirdos are found everywhere.
I did not meet him after that. He is acting as my supervisor since my current supervisor is on long break. This guy works in a different office and monitors us remotely. However, his calls have increased since that day. Although they are purely official, it seems a little too much. I am anyways being vigilant about all this.
I like Gujarati style though. But here in Sri lanka no one wears Gujarati sharers for office. They are purely for special events only.
True. It needs a lot of homework to look good in cotton Saree. Not sure how these government staffs are wearing them daily. If not for any professional matters, I would also prefer chiffon sarees. They are great too.
Sorry for the diversion : The vast majority of Indian origin people in Srilanka are Tamilian. This we know. But people with origin from North Indian states like Gujarat, are they living in Srilanka ? If so in approximately what numbers ?
Nope.. we don't have Gujaratis here except for the few diplomats. But the Gujarati saree style is not something new. People do prefer this style for special events and functions, specially the young ones.
This is the video for pleating, I wouldn't do this to my silk saree. It will definitely leave a mark and chances to tear is high. One thing I know is, short people should not wear wide boarder and very busy big designs, This is applicable for cotton or synthetic saree.
@JustAnotherMom very neat.I will try. I wear non pleated pallu, open over the arm like this... https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/...2IenbKxHmkpTF-sYAwaejOTO6X7yCQfkirFmTrXOTwLlk
