    Hello Ladies,
if you have to eat one dish day in and day (everyday all four times) out what would that be? Looking forward for some interesting replies. If you have to eat it everyday then it has to be your fav dish, hence the title :)

At times when I let go my calorie intake for a day I end up eating my favorite homemade dish through out the day. I could just eat masala pori (spiced murmura) or mirchi bajji or chicken pakodi or veg soft noodles all day.

In south India many orthodox in their seventies would relish anytime the standard curdbath as offered in iyengar’s temples called Daddojanam. (த்த்தியோன்னம்)
    Thair sadam
, bagala bath are the other South Indian names to this traditional tempered curd rice.
It suits me any part of the day in all weather conditions as obtained in Chennai.

I used to feel miserable and meal incomplete without it.

There was a time I used to leave home at 5am for my work commuting by bus train and long walk only after eating curd rice that was made in left over rice of previous night.
I felt miserable and out of moods in the absence of this curd rice two times atleast everyday during lunch supper/dinner.

Asafoetida is a must in curd bath.

Thalippu added curd bath is always heavenly. It enhance the taste. The presence of fried curry leaves mustard and powder asafoetida a little finely-chopped-dry-ginger is heavenly & a great delight to sight.

    Thanks & Regards.

Other day when shobha venkat rep from Nestlë handing hamper party pack as compliments and replacement as well the Maggi noodles, advised my family & I that their product is high in salt with maida not to be consumed often especially those suffer with BP and other heart conditions. Just my two cents.
