    GM @justanothergirl
    Lovely song. My favorite too.
    *******

    Not a problem at all.
There is no compulsion on anyone to stick to my chosen composer. Not at all.

I started it as I didn't want miss any composer and his/her contributions. The best way I thought was - go one by one in alphabetical order.
You should know me by now; I thrive on plans:facepalm:

Again I reiterate, as your thread title says "favorite songs" and that is what it is and should be.

    Thank you @justanothergirl .
I get the names list from Lakshman Ragde's website, search for info on the composers, listen to the songs, and then pick the one that I like the most for posting here.
I am learning a lot in the process.

Aandavan Picchai (1889-1990)- A contemporary composer

Pithan endradulum avan - sung by N.C. Vasanthakokilam

    Ullam urugudhada .
The original song was composed in Raagam Atana.
This song was later converted to Ragam Abheri and we have all heard it rendered by Sri T.M. Sounderarajan with the word "urugudhada" changed to "urugudhaiya"

Here are both versions; the original first.

    The popular version
