    Hi @sokanasanah
Ecru, wenge, heather, and stone are all dull colors..so as no raaga is dull i could not associate with any of them.
Sarcoline is flesh colored... nope nothing comes to mind.
    Coquelicot is raaga Lalitha.
    Here are some more:
    Eburnian - raaga Saraswathi
    Smargadine - Shanmugapriya
    Mikado - Varali
    Xanadu- Shri
    Fulvous - Hamsadwani
    :)

    Listening to

as much for MMI as for
Palani Subramanya Pillai...enna nadam kai la(what reverberating sound in his fingers)
Listen with headphones after 34 min....its almost as if MMI cannot stop putting swaram..Palani won't let him stop....He anticipates every pattern...gives me goose bumps!
PS:I am so mad right now..why couldnt we have had better recording devices then...arrrrrgh!

PANCHARATNA KRITIS OF THYAGARAJA SWAMY. All the five are real gems. Listening to these kritis in the voice of Late Dr.M. Balamuralikrishna sir, is a grand treat to our ears. Do take time to listen to it.

Hi @shambu @Anusowmyan @Vartha welcome to the thread.
True Anu...While every composition of Thyagaraja is special and beautiful in its own way, Pancharatnams are truly that the 5 crowning jewels. Here is one version of rendering them by the legend himself

One of my bucket list items is to attend the thyagaraja aradhana festival at Thiruvaiyaru
