Fake BC will work for 485

My DH's birth was not registered at the time of birth. Now we have to give BC for applying I-485. My DH's friend told if we give Rs. 10000/- in India we will get the fake BC. Will the fake Birth certificate will work for applying I -485, The consulate will cross verify the Birth certificate with the corporation of India. Please give me your feedback.

Hey dont do any fake stuff. its ok not to have birth certificate. my DH also same situation.

here are lawyers words from email - if there is not record of your husband's birth, he has to get a non-availability certificate from the municipality. along with that he has to get 2 sworn affidavits and any other secondary evidence. the stamp paper could be of any value Ins doesn't care.

some of the secondary evidences for birth are old medical records, hospital record, school record, ration card or household card, census record, old religious records, sworn affidavits from parents and so on.
