    Facts of life which I learnt in my 75yrs experience
    Any RELATIONSHIP is possible only when two egos are dropped. Otherwise four persons are involved – Two real & Two imaginary
    So, Let Go of you Ego …. Whenever you are wrong – Admit it and whenever you are right – Keep Quiet. This will surely keep the relationships strong. And like needles of a clock, strong relationships always remain connected even when they meet on few occasions.
    Dont understand with some we become close very fast but with some even after ages we cant be close
    Children and elders need our valuable time , children till the age of 5 years and elders after sixty. When children grow up they dont need so much and especially now a days children grow fast and they teach us better than what we learnt from our experience. Elders need us more when they become old and we should spend valuable time with them when they are there so that we dont repent later when they are not there

    Now a days many senior citizens have to look after themselves as their children are abroad and the Parents don't want to go abroad. Children's job also is very challenging and they lead a hectic life. For them bringing up children is also a tough job .
    Someone said in a discourse that since parents leave their children in creshe when they are kids so when the parents grow old kids leave them in old age homes
    Life is the most difficult exam . Many people fail because they try to copy others,Not realizing that everyone has a different question paper .

    Dear Viji, The snippet is practical to the core.It is very to comment about children who stay abroad. In these days, the worls is highly competitive.I pity modern mothers who have to struggle five time more to bring up a single child, whereas their mothers have brought up five children very easily,because of the absence of media influence.

    When only one of them dropped the ego, and the other one holds on to that, the relationship could be a threesome :blush: awesome!

    A recent American President had said that if someone likes their ego, they can keep their ego. Perhaps it is a person's best friend, until someone else comes along and offers something better.... a better reality... or a better ego. Relationships are only good, as long as the real person can offer something to improve the status quo; otherwise, there is no point in trying to have one.

    We are in a forum for girls/women, and even though it is trite, we can say that "we have come a long way". There is no longer a need to put up with jerks in order to feed/house ourselves. Ego... or self-respect is a good buddy when you can have a safe and happy life on your own. Many posts from distressed members on this forum demonstrate that fact.

    There is no need to have a "relationship" when the price is too high, and even demands submission to stupidity. Just my dos centavos.

    :hello:That is ground reality with middle and upper class and top echelons. I rural ans semi urban the ego factor stands muted or subservient.
    God seldom blesses egoless state to persons soaked in ego.
