    Isn't face still the index of the mind ??? Just going by what you said here, depending on what scenario one is in be it a politician or a parent or a teacher or an employee or a doctor or a lawyer or a ........ whatever it is, our mind tells us that we should not behave in such and such a manner and for whatever the reason it is. So our face reflects the same outward...don't you think? :)

    Though face is the index of the mind naturally, under extraneous circumstances and other forces, one's face does not actually reflect what he or she thinks.What you see mostly is the artificial expression of a human being.So, face is not the actual index of the mind, under practical considerations.
