After being burnt multiple times by several different dry cleaners - I am not willing to hand over any saree of mine to my Mother's or m aunt's to a dry cleaner. They have been returned torn , with color bleeding etc. Maybe saris are not even dry cleaning friendly. I have found that fabric steamers do the job of both refreshing & pressing them without damaging or fading the delicate garment. I am ok with not washing as the precious silk saris are not work more than a few hours at a time anyway. But here is the challenge : Fabric steamers are designed to work vertically not horizontally . Hanging up the saree on the hanger and going fold by fold is a project management challenge . Often , I end up creasing it again while trying to redo the folds to get to all parts. I am here to ask if anyone has a plan of action to tackle this task. TIA
