    Hi, I am looking for a place for my son (1 bedroom/studio) to stay near Northwestern university for a year. If anyone has information please share. Thanks.

    And a warm welcome to Evanston! There is plenty of accomodation available all over Evanston. Evanstonliving.com, Rent.com, Apartment search, Apartmentguide.com are good places to search. In addition, Kellogg also has student housing available for which you will have to go thro the university.

    In general rents are steep in Evanston especially if you choose to live in downtown or North Evanston. The South is farther away from the university but slightly cheaper. Rogers Park is just north of Evanston and has cheaper rent. Its possible to use public transport to get from Rogers Park to Evanston.
