hi , My 4 year old son has been diagnosed with enlarged adenoids...The ENT specialist has advised us to go for surgery..but I am so worried and dont know what to do..the very word surgery is freaking me out....did anybody else have the same problem....please share what was ur course of treatment... thanxs
Hi Abhinaya, I have not had a personal experience with this but my friend's daughter in India has undergone surgery for enlarged adenoids. Her daughter faced a lot of problems while sleeping and so they decided to opt for the surgery. I will check with her and revert to you on some of the details. Hi again, Apparently the friend that I mentioned earlier did not opt for the surgery...her daughter had breathing difficulties. She switched to homeopathy and her daughter is fine now. Sorry for the wrong info earlier...I think I confused two different cases. Hope ur son feels better soon.
Hello Abhinaya, I personally feel you should consult a Paediatrician in India, before deciding on surgery. May be your summer holidays could be a good time to perform the surgery in India, if required.
i go to a ent specialist in zulekha who has her own clinic in alnahda ,her name is pallavi pavithran..my son has no ear pain but he is snoring and also has sleep problems sometimes...i am so worried ab the surgery....
thanxs for ur reply...cld u ask your friend which homeopathy doctor did she consult and also how long did it take with homepathy to get cured.i hope i am not causing any trouble..its just that my son is so small and surgery is the laast thing i want to do...
thank u usha for ur reply,its exactly what we have planned...we plan to go in july and consult a good ENT in chennai...if we do opt for surgery it would give him a lot of time to recuperate....
No trouble at all, Abinaya...I understand the worry this is causing you. The homeopath is in Pune, india. Her daughter's treatment is still ongoing but her breathing problems have stopped. I will check with her again and let you know if there is a definite treatment duration.
