    Varalotti sir,
We really missed you for some days.
A writer's mind is an ocean of creativity. So carry on your duty...
And the poetic reply about your disappearence is that IL website without you is like a curry without salt.
    Archana.

Wanted to stand upon the bench but...

    Dear Kamla,
As soon as I read your judgment sentencing me to stand up on the bench I ran back home and was frantically looking for a bench.
My helpful wife demanded, 'What for do you need a bench?'
I told her that a good lady has given this punishment. To stand up on the bench.
My wife said, "It's a punishment for the bench and not for you. What kind of bench do you think will bear your weight, a little short of one quintal, without croaking? I dont want to kill an innocent bench for your excesses. Ask that lady to give a punishment that involves only you."
Now the ball is back to your court.
    regards
    sridhar

    Welcome back!

    Haa Sridhar,

You are back:) That is more than enough, now no need to stand on any benches!
(Mind you, I am also worried for the bench u c..ha ha ha)!

Sridhar Varalotti..A HUGE Congrats on your new book release. I am so very happy and may The Meenakshi bless you with many more such achievements. Looks like I have to brush up on my Tamil if I am to enjoy your book and all its nuances. I am now worried that I have let my Tamil rust so much! But maybe the book will be also published in English? Well, you and time can tell us that.

Nice to see more of your postings here.

    All the Best...Kamla

Can't help mentioning, dear Sridhar !

After the " frightening punishment" you gave us in this forum by your conspicuous absence, it is very enjoyable that you are back with your wit & comments. All is well that ends well.
    Mud mudke nahin jana, Sridhar.
    Love & regards,
    Chithra.

    Thanks Kamla

    Dear Kamla,
A double thanks. One for releasing me from the punishment though it was more out of sympathy for inanimate objects. And two for the nice words you have about my book.
I will be happy and proud if you can read the book in Tamil. For in that process I would have revived tamil in the heart of a Tamil woman.
English publishing is a different ball game. I am trying to publish a novel first. But let's see.
Hereafter you all will be celebrating the Saturdays with me.
Please stay tuned and have a look at my forum a short while from now.
    regards,
    sridhar
