Hi Girls, went through some of ur receipes n would like to suggest something i too make cakes,cookies,breads at home n i replace maida with whole wheat flour,handfull of wheat bran which is equally tasty n is nutritional. As for egg replacer this things r not available in india,idea of banana as replacer is good but end result tasting of banana dosent go well any more ideas for replaciing eggs Luv Hema

Sorry, haven't gone thro' the prev. posts, but have any of you tried apple sauce instead of egg or refined oil insted of butter?It works well, and avoids unwaned flavours.
Hi Kaluputti, interesting to know apple sauce can be substituted for egg... usually i use that in place of butter even prune puree. healthy, no fat but equally tasty Latha
