    hi anupama ,

What ever timings i have given is for convection mode. I bake on a convection mode only.

I fully use the advantage of less/more to check the timings...if i feel it is goin g to brown fast, reduce the time,if it looks it will take some more time i will increase...

    Happy baking.

    Hi all,

I was going through this post and I thought, will add my recipe of the butter biscuit which can be done in about 15 mnts and the reviews have been great when i made it for my family.

Do try and let me know.

    Perfect benne delight

This amount gives about 24 biscuits.

    Flour – 1 cup
    Butter – ½ cup
    Castor Sugar – ½ cup
    Cardamom powder – 1tbsp
    Milk- 1 tbsp
    Yellow colour – 1 drop

    • Heat the oven for 10 mnts at 150 degrees.
    • Sieve Flour and keep aside.
    • Melt the butter and mix with castor sugar till sugar is dissolved.
    • Add the Cardamom powder and the colour and mix well.
    • Add the flour and mix well. By now the entire mixture would have a dough consistency.
    • Add a little milk and mix well so that the entire mixture doesn’t crumble.
    • Take a small amount of dough and shape into a ball and flatten a bit and place on the baking tray and bake for about 5 to 8 mnts. (Be careful, if not the biscuit will burn).
    • Once done, remove and place on a rack to cool. Can be enjoyed warm with tea or coffee.
