    Hi All,

    Here is the Egg Biryani made by my DH for Sunday Lunch:

    Recipe:

    Ingredients for Egg Masala:

    2 FUll Onions - Medium to Big Size
    4 Green Chillies
    Garam Masala - 1 Spoon
    Chilli Powder - 1 Spoon
    Cumin and Jeera Powder - 1 Spoon
    1 Tomato cut into pieces

    Preparation:

    Cut Onions into small slices, cut Green CHilles into Slices fry them in a pan with 3 spoons Oil until onions turns into brown to Reddish.

    Add Boiled Eggs

    Add Tomatoes and Make tha thick paste.

    Add Garam Masala, Chilli Powder, Cumin and jeera Powder also a little Salt.


    once it is cooked to a paste take it off from Stove keep aside.

    Cook Rice in a separate bowl (80% cooked) and keep it separate from Starch, you can wash with cold water. Add Mint Leaves.


    Cut vegetables into small pieces. in a pan add oil and vegetables add ginger Garlic paste.

    After 25% cooked add three spoons of Curd and three spoons of Milk.

    Add 1 spoon of each - Badshah Biryani Masala, Shan Biryani Masala.

    Add Salt (to taste)

    add Egg and Onion Paste dont mix, add as a layer.

    Add all the Rice as a layer and Top with Ghee and sprinkle Coriander Leaves.

    Cook for 30 Mins on a low Flame. Finally Mix everything gently.

    Looks yum! Will try it this week and let you know. I've never used Shan spice blends. Do you find them to be good?

    Hi Gauri, yes Shan masalas are quite good!!
