Effect of Flax Seed

Recently read somewhere that flax seeds must be avoided during pregnancy..... not so sure about the fertility effects...

 

flax seeds mimic estrogen and are not advised during pregnancy and bread feeding. if you are on treatment for PCOS/PCOD or fibroids, thyroid do not use flax seed or flax seed oil. better do so only if you get a green signal.

as i always say even natural food that are beneficial in certain case can be harmful in others..

flax seed is known to cause allergies in some.

always use with caution..and avoid using them because somebody/some magazines says that they are very good.

 

Flax seeds contain omega 3 which is very good during TTC in fact u get capsules called Fertiflax which can be taken n helps in implantation.
