IDLI SQUARED Ingredients: 6 idlis 3-4 table spoons of Corn flour 2 teaspoons of Beasan powder ½ teaspoon Chilly powder A pinch of Salt and food color (red) Cooking oil: 250 ml Dhania leaves Method Cut the idlis into square pieces. Mix the other ingredients well with water and marinate the idli squares with the paste. Heat cooking oil in a pan. Deep fry the idli squares in low flame till they turn golden brown. Garnish with dhania leaves. I used to make this very often for my sons . but will not marinate as given .i used to sprinkle either rice flour or besan,will add a dash of ketchup and idly powder.,gingily Oil.will fry Yummy dish.some times will add roasted or raw onions as dressing .
