Driving road test...Please help!!

Dear friends

Am planning to take a road test in Lombard DMV.Anybody have ever taken road test in lombard,chicago?

If so,please share your experiences.

Hi friends

Passed the road test by god's grace

They checked the following:
If am signalling when necessary.
Stopping at the stop sign,smoothly.
Turning smoothly.
Maintaining speed limit.
Acceleration.
How i'm applying the break.
Perpendicular Parking & backing up.
Obeying the signs.
Right of way to the oncoming vehicle & pedestrians.
Downhill Parking.
Looking over the shoulder when necessary & checking the mirror often.
If am alert all the time.

My request is o practice all types of parking - Parallel,Reverse,Three-point turn& Two-point turn.It depends upon the instructor.Some may ask & some may not ask.Signally is very important while doing these turns & parking. I hope this will help you too.

Hi Priya,
Thankyou very much for sharing your experience. I wrote my written test on last friday and planning to take drive test soon . Did you remember on which route you gave drive test? Is it mandatory to learn parallel parking?Is perpendicular parking same as normal parking?

Yes.
Is it mandatory to learn parallel parking?
Yes.Your Instructor might/might not ask you.We do parallel parking in few places.So,please learn it.
Did you remember on which route you gave drive test?
I took my test in Lombard (DMV),Westmore Meyer's Road.I think Jackson street,Addison Ave,Madison street(nearby DMV).,were the areas I covered..Parking test was held inside the DMV.
