    Thanks so much Nityaka. Mercifully I did not wear a madisar at my wedding. It would have been a tough battle - I would have been torn to bits to see it lying and developing tears along the folds. I would have wanted to convert it and no one around would have let me forget it for the rest of my life if I had. :spin I have a tough time for every saree I cut up.     I have done lot of sarees like that if i like pallu i will buy it and convert it into salwar.
    So continue doing it and don't forget to post it when you get a good desgin

    Don't feel bad. You can look at various designs around. You will learn very quickly through observation. If you have a good tailor, you can take an old saree which has an attractive pallu and border an get ideas from him. Gradually you'll learn. :thumbsup
