Doubt regarding Visitor's visa for parents

Hi Can some one let me know what should be the ending balance in the bank statements each month, so that one can prove that he/she can support both the parents visting here.

we have some savings and also can provide paystubs, but our bank balances will be generally very low when it comes to the end of the month.

What I realised is they don't generally for any papers. In the last 15 days my sister and brother went and got rejected twice. One happened just today morning. They never saw any papers that they carried. I think they just make up their mind.

But, to my parents when they went, I think we should around 20k in US and they didn't show anything.

Let's wait to hear from other members too.

First time when my inlaws went for the interview in 2006,they had all the papers with enough bank balance but got rejected

They went again in 2007 and got the visa ,they didn't check the papers at all.

It all depends on the luck i guess..

I think it would be better if you have 10,000-15,000 in bank ,just in case if they are looking at that.
