Doha Ladies - Introduce yourselves here!

Dear Preethi,

I joined this forum only yesterday while searching for information on life@doha. Thanks for the informative write-up. Since its a bout 3 yrs old, I request you to kindly share some updates about living in doha. Specifically for Indians like vegetables, vegetarian food, schools for girls, security etc. issues. I am considering a vacancy at Doha, so am interested in all these stuff.

Hi Kshema......

There no much chage as of i know in Doha n this 3 yrs expect for that the house rents have come down.

For veges........Family food centre, Indian Super Market, LuLu hyper, Food place.these are few where i found Lulu competative.

Veg food u have ........Arayas, vasanth Bhavan & saravana Bhavan this s pretty new one

As far as security s concerened there s no such prolem so far......touch wood:crazy

Schools...u have lots of Indian shools like BPS,DPS. MIS, DMIS, but sure of girls school n specific.......these r co-ed.

Priya has said it all...doha hasn't changed much...

Very calm place.......there are so many community groups and organizations, if you want to socialise you can become a member and have good social life too....as far as I have seen, people are very friendly here....

Qatar is a nice place to live...hope to see you sometime in Qatar....
