Do You Use "watch Forum" Feature?

Do you use "Watch Forum" feature?

  3. I know about this feature, but don't use it.

    You can watch your forums of interest...

    I don't use the Watch Forum feature.. Like I hardly use any of the buttons on my IP, at IL I use very few features. : )

    I dont use the watch forum feature. On logging in, i just check the new alerts if any and go to the latest posts
    and go thro' what interests me.

    I do. It helps me keep on top of threads in the forum I moderate. I don’t use the feature for any other forum though.

    Thank you joylokhi. Starting from Alerts and then using new replies is how most people browse the site I think. I don't think "Watch Forum" changes that daily routine. If you use "Watch Forum", it Alerts you to content that interests you. Can you try watching your forums of interest for a week and share what you think?

    It then becomes like an additional forum because too many threads show up there :)

    Thanks @Laks09. One thought. Did you know you can setup to receive alerts only for "New Threads" and not for "New Posts". Would that make the # of alerts you receive manageable to use this feature? Or is it still going to be too much?
