    In Malaysia most of indians in here didn't practise to put kolam everyday. But we do put kolams everyday during magarli and on every hindhu festivals.

    In Singapore, we can put kolams.....
    I put kolams on Fridays and special pooja and festival days.....

    My Mom was a great Kolam artist, I am just good at drawing! I draw some flowers and try my hand everyday! It is a must to mop the place and decorate it with small kolams, follwed by 40 minutes of prayers and then rush to office. It is my routine now.

    thanks u very much for the navagraha kolams.......... i put irudaya kamala kolam on friday & tuesday thursday iput saravana bhava i.e: shrim kolam on my pooja room.
