dmv driving test california - simple question

    Hi..

    I have a question..My friend who is quite new to the USA asked me whether driving instructors would mention the street names while giving driving instructions or just say the directions like "turn left at the intersection".During my test, I was not given any street names throughout my test. Can you pls share ur experiences ?

    No they won't tell the street names. They will only give interactions like - we go left at the coming stop sign, we go right at the lights ..... and so on. That is why no one can correctly predict the drive-test route - I guess.
