    Hello everyone,

With exactly 1 month ahead for Diwali, I am sure everybody would have started purchasing/planning for the Diwali shopping.

Do share your plans and purchase details, inputs on the new arrivals/collections, pricing, crowd and all such relevant data.

Last year I remember we were also posting pics of the dresses that we purchased for comments. So this thread is open for all such lively activities. :drowning

    Welcome Brinda,

Whats a shimmer saree.....a thin transparent fabric?

Where do u get jute sarees in Chennai? I have seen jute silk sarees in Paalam Silks but was not so impressed as they looked a bit heavy.

Jute cotton sarees should be good....pls throw some light :bowdown

Thanks for enlightening me Brinda......shimmer looks good.

I am planning to try Nungambakkam this time for Diwali shopping.

Karishma for salwar and Man Mandir and Rangoli for sarees...lets c if I am able to make up.....all these shops r quite far from my place.

I had got a salwar from Karishma last year and I liked it very much...quality and look wise......never saw such salwar collections elsewhere in Chennai :)
