    Hi ,

    Actually i learned that it's not going to be acceptable in India as per Indian Laws if i get divorced here in the US.

    The divorce has to be filed in India as mine was a Hindu marriage.Let me know if you have any information on this.

    Both me and my husband are indian citizens and got married in India.

    Hope I can send you PM now. Even if both of you are Indian citizens & married in India, you can still file for divorce in Californina provided you should be living in CA for last 8 months.
    Your divorce papers of CA are valid if you show them in India.

    I have been in the US for more than 5 years now.But i see as per california Divorce laws i can file for divorce if i am a resident of cali for atleast 6 months.But i am confused if this will be valid in India.I am reading differnt articles and they have mixed comments about it
