    Different Paths

The self-help author, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, once made a very
    interesting point.

One day, he was walking in Hawaii when a person approached him rather angrily for entering his land.

Wayne pondered this meeting. He wondered what he had done
to 'attract' such hospitality from this young man.

After meditating on this incident, Wayne came to the conclusion that they were both on different spiritual paths.

Whereas Wayne was on a well-developed path and life was challenging him with greater questions, the young man was just starting his spiritual journey and thus life was asking him simpler questions.

The fact that this young man's path had crossed Wayne's path had very little significance to Wayne as he had very little he could learn from the young man.

Very often in life our paths cross with people who are on a
different journey to the one that we are on. When this happens, it is best to ask yourself what you can learn from this. If there is nothing, then just forget the incident
    .

Many More Happy Returns of the Day!

    Dear Cheer,
Many more happy returns of the day. May you be blessed with permanent cheerfulness this day and all days to follow.
That incident by Wayne Dyer is a quite powerful one.
But I want to add one more dimension to that.
What Dr.Dyer says is profoundly true. But it is also equally true that we meet quite a lot of people who are on the lower rungs of spiritual ladder compared to ourselves. Yes we should ignore them and go our way.
Then why does Nature/God make us meet such people? Is it just an accident? No nothing happens by chance as Dr.Dyer himself has reiterated in many of his works. That has a purpose. We grow spiritually every day. And we need to consolidate our growth. What best way to do that than meeting somebody who has not spiritually grown enough?
If Dr.Dyer had flared up against the young man then his growth would not have been real and Nature would have pushed him to a lower rung of the ladder.
As Dr.Dyer ignored the young man he has consolidated his growth at this phase. And should look forward for a more subtle challenge at the next phase.
And if we imbibe the lesson most of our human relationships will be a tremendous success.
I want to thank you for the beautiful message and leave this addendum as my gift to you.
    Enjoy your day, cheer.
