designer skirt blouse for GD

    I have stitched two full skirts and blouses for my gd sahaana. the green one is of kanchivaram silk and the black one is of brocade silk.

    V. well done. I liked both of them . Y'r grand daughter is so pretty. Wow , what a sweet one to have.

    What is brocade material ? is it silk ?

    thanks for the first fb sabarimathi. yes the black one is of brocade silk and the blouse is of cotton silk.

    Wow Ganges, very beautiful work. The first one is gorgeous and the second one too...ohhh its so difficult to decide which one I like the better. :)

    Wow.. I love the brocade silk one. Of course Kancheepuram silk is no less... The Brocade silk looks very trendy and Kancheepuram silk looks traditional.. Amsama irukku Ganges..
    Very pretty..

    and your granddaughter is adorable.

    vow, both the skirts are beautiful. i loved both one. infact my DD name is also Sahana and she turned 7 yrs may 25th.

    more of my designer outfits

    dear all,

    I bought some cool cottons from narsingh, hyderabad, which is having a vast varities. From one cloth, I made a designer nighty for my DIL and with the left over cloth I stitched one frock for sahaana. share your opinions.

    designer kurti for my dil

    this is the kurti I stitched for my dil. the cloth is of block printed silk with zari border.

    Its really beautifully done.... The colour and the look is great in both the outfits....

    In the frock you could have used the green lace near the sleeves also it would have looked differently...
