    As you said, we have to do something special now and then.:crazy What to do? Some people will 'eat to live' like my husband:hatsoff, But I am ' live to eat' type.Big Laugh:thumbsup

    oats & rice atta Dosa

    Ingredients:

    Oats 1cup
    rice atta-2 tbsp
    green chilly 2
    ginger-1 pinch
    Asafetida 1/2 sp
    Mustard 1/2 sp
    Black pepper and cumin seeds (few)
    Oil to make dosa
    Salt

    Method:

    grind it oats,rice atta with green chilly,ginger.
    fry mustard ,cuminseeds & black pepper with little oil
    Add salt, asafetida .
    You can prepare dosas immediately after grinding.
    Serve with Coconut chutney or tomato chutney

    Just wanted to know what is Rice Atta? Is it the other name for Rava or is it the rice flour ?

    Rice atta is just Rice Flour. That is all.

    Dear Krishnamma,

    Can i prepare dosas at night for next day morning? I won't get time to prepare them in the morning. My hubby won't eat oats. Its really becoming a big problem to me to prepare break fasts. Thank you .

    yes dear,
    you can make and keep it in the fridge. the next day morning you can reheat it in the oven and eat. no problem.
    we use to keep idly with miligaipodi in the freezer for more than a week.
    and same to dosa and miligaipodi. I use to spread miligai podi on dosa and keep it in the freezer and my husband eat them by reheating them in the oven. Try and give me a feed back.
    one more thing if you are going to use it in the morning, no need to keep themin the freezer. just keep them in the fridge. ok?
