    My 6 years old daughter won 2nd prize in the Deepavali drawing competition conducted by Tamil Association here in southern california. I gave her the idea and she decided the finest details and color preferences and touches.

    Good one for a 7 yr old :) I was at the celebration too. We are new to LA and were hoping to meet some tamilians. It was a good show !

    Hi Vidhyalakshmi,

    That's an awesome work by a 6yr old. Wow! her color choices and the way she has evenly colored is commendable. It totally deserves the prize :thumbsup. I am going to show this to my 6yr old and see what she says.

    BTW, you also want your kid to participate in our Diwali Dhoom - Drawing Contest for Kids! I am sure she will bag a prize :)
