Dedicated to the Earth!

I was reading about the Earth hour today and thinking how many activists are doing so much to bring about awareness about the depleting natural resources. Also how easy it is for some others to be oblivious of all this and continue squandering away natures gift. These thoughts brought out a poet in my and I have penned 2 small poems. They are not really great and flowery, but its the least I can do for mother Earth. I dedicate these poems to you, oh Earth!

Live in a tent
Or live on rent
Live in your home
Or live in Rome
Nature is precious,
Destroy it not!
Water is precious,
Waste it not!

This is the second one....

Fossil fuels are steadily depleting
Antarctican ice is already melting
Wild life is endangered
The atmosphere is battered.
But its never too late
To change the Earth's fate.
Of yours, one small step
Can surely be of help.
Its our Earth, oh friend
Let saving it be our new trend!

Please take some time to read about the upcoming Earth hour on 28th of March, followed across the globe. Let each one of us 'do something about it' instead of waiting for someone else.
