Hi Angel good you started the thread..even i feel i need some push to keep eating something healthy... my yde's menu: Bf: Veg Daliya/ Daliya is similar to couscous...It turned out extremely well and I am eager to do this atleast once in 8-10 days, Milk Pre lunch snack: One guava Lunch: MiL made Arbi/ Colocasia dry veg with chapathi + Tender Coconut water Eve snack: Moong sprouts cooked and had with bread toast Dinner: Arbi left overs continued... Night: one small pomogrante
Hi.. My menu today.. BF: Idly, sambar, brinjal chatney Lunch : Brinji rice, peas gravy, boiled egg, curd Snack: Few oranges..and nuts Night: Rice, rasam,egg burji. SSM, I was googling you menu items (daliya, colocasia) in net.. nice to know new names .. Hope this thread will make our eating habbits better.. by seeing other's menu.. We may need to publish this thread in other Mom To be sections.. so that more people will start posting
ahh..thanks dear Daliya is like Godumbai rava/ 'Bombay Rava' but thicker variety taste same as Bombay rava in case you have tasted it In Tamil Colocasia is Cheppankizhangu i think..the fry veg tastes awesome with Rasam/ Moru Kuzhambhu etc... Do u cook all that yourself with job???
Yah.. i know abt godumai rava.. i usually make Godumail upma since my hubby likes that much.. My mom is this there with me from past 10 days.. so i am getting royal treatment ..she will be there for another 2-3 days... then my duty will start..

Helpmeangel, Its simple recipe.. 1. Brinjal - 3 2. Big onion - 1 3. Tomato - 2 4. Red Chilly - 1-2 5. Tamarind - small pinch 6. Salt add some water and pore all in cooker and keep it for 2-3 vissles.. wait till it becomes cool.. then put in mixie and grind it.. Put some seasoning with curry leaves on this mixture.. It will taste good with idly,dosa..(Liquid one).. some times it can act like pickle with curd rice..(Thick one)
