Subrato was irritated as usual. "When will these managers behave? Giving their sub-ordinates a difficult task just before the end of office hours and demanding the result the next day morning! Do they ever have a heart?", he wondered. As he walked to the nearest train station, he saw a couple of young ones distributing pamplets. "For a personal loan at an exorbitant interest rate, I am sure! Who will even consider approaching these banks? And beggars are better these days! They don't disturb us!", he thought aloud and ignored them. As he entered the train station, he remembered that he had to draw some money. Cursing his manager again, for making him stay late, he decided better against it and walked in the direction of the platform [opposite to the ATM point]. The path was lonely with some lights not working too. There was a dark stretch which he needed to cross and was a bit afraid till he was joined by another person almost of his stature. As he entered the brighter zone, still a few meters away from station, he looked at the other man. He offered a ready smile and was about to take something out of his pocket. "Some canvassing again? What could it be this time? Another bank perhaps? When will these guys stop?", he thought and said, "I already have enough credit and debit cards with me now and a couple of personal loans too!". The other guy's smile widened and he said "Thanks!". Next moment, he took a knife and placed it on Subrato's throat. "Lets go to the ATM!" was all he said.
