    Hi all,

I learnt crochet a long time ago under the guidance of a family friend. This lady was so patient with me and I consider her my role model and guide.

I have put in my work in mixed media- thread and wool in this thread.

As always I look forward to your feedback. This is a hexagonal doily but the starch seems to have worn off.

    Hi ,

This was a sweater made for my daughter when she was a year old, but this is one of the few crochet articles that I still have with me. Most of the shawls, sweaters, doilies, purses etc made by me have been gifted away and I only have memories

    Hi

A Crochet clutch purse for a dear friend in silk thread. I have to give it to her in April and this time I remembered to click a snap. I have lined the clutch with a silk beige fabric so that the entire effect will be sober. I have just finished a couple of more purses for which I am doing the lining and will post them before they are also gifted to friends next month

    Hi

I am not a big fan of knitting and would opt out of knitting anytime but I fell in love with this pattern on sight and made it as a baby blanket for my son when I was expecting him. This is knitted with 2 strands of 4 ply wool right through with 0 number needle.

    Hi Jayashree,

All the items are so nice and neatly preserved over the years like new. Most of you here are multitalented. Sometimes I envy. But really appreciate all your efforts, patience in doing so many craft works and also manage the family efficiently. This is one of the many reasons, I love being a woman. Hats off dear.

    Hi Sunitha,
Thanks. Crochet is very simple to learn. Try it if you havent already done so and working with wool helps finish the project faster.... Instant gratification. I second yr thoughts that we are blessed because we are women. Waiting fr thesari measurements on the pallu side. Maybe you and Su can send me the stuff together

    Hi Ashwini,

Thanks. I really had to dig all og this out from storage and was too lazy to do it earlier. The baby sweater is the easiest to make. I have made the same type for my mom too using thesame pattern with appropriate increases
