Just observe for few days, You too can find a way to stand by yourself .

It takes time to better understand the environment , mentalities, needs etc Meanwhile you can give a signal politely , that you are strong and not going to take any insults, if it is direct.

Indirect insults means it takes time to decide on whats happening and how to handle it. If possible you can contact your hr wing if it is seriously bothering you.

    hope this helps

I had a similar experience in the past..you need to be firm and professional to deal with them..if u need any help approach them through the manager so that if they are hostile and unhelpful you can have the evidence of it..if this continues for long u can consider a change of team or change of company as it gets very stressful to be insulted by people continuously in the long run..I have been insulted several times and on a regular basis..it was so demotivating and stressful and I hated every single day in the team.

    Actually nothing much.
Simply let them be while you go about business.
Observe courtesies required, keeping your dignity
We cannot change people or situations so adapt if possible.
If it's generation gap nothing much to be done, get on with life.
People who take a stand, with strong principles, moralsand ethics are not necessarily valued always, but, it requires courage and conviction, and self belief to do so.
Never compromise under coercion, unless completely convinced.
Finally, it's only a job you can try another if the going gets hard.
