    I am going to Austin and want to show my son the real cowboy related experience in the south. where and how can I do it ?
    Are there places like that ? like taverns or reaturants themed like that ?
    Or any ranches or places run by cowboys.

    I think you might want to check out dude ranches. I hope you realize that cowboy bars/chuckwagons will have a lot of beef involved?
