    Naturally one is/gets curious.

We use our senses, see, hear, sniff, taste etc.. to experience stuff all around us. We had been on this path of discovery since eons. And we've learned much; lots more to come.

If Morarji Desai believes he don't need those darn cows for his daily medicine, who are we to object...eh?

Who else is doing what else ? Why should the World Health Organization bother with it all (but they do) ? We must support the rights of cultures to drink whatever domesticated animal's pee that they have in their world. If they understand that it makes them better, who are we to object ?

    Dear Geethaji,

It's insensitive on his part to send such a forward and not accept after you have politely conveyed it to him. I would never regret losing such a friend. It's not the matter of 30 yrs but quality is what matters.
Plus even if someone decides to eat S**t how are others entitled to give their opinion. Mocking and making fun is a total NO.

I read most of the comments here in the thread and saw people dragging religion etc.
No irrespective of religion one should be sensible , use his brain , use the technology (like whatsapp, social media etc) in the right manner.

    Regards,
    Anusha

Absolutely! We, humans, are becoming intolerant, myopic and we are bringing on trouble to ourselves and others.

    Fantastic!

Why bring in a bloated ego and false pride, when all that an issue requires is simply to step back?

    Agree with you on this.

The rule should be the same for all antisocial elements.
In India, due to minority status and the vested political agendas, minority communities often get away with many irresponsible acts and their religious agendas are often imported and skewed. They want parallel laws and distinguished identities. Then again for many of them, their core loyalties are elsewhere, not with their motherland and it is here that the basic clash with the majority community begins. (I don't definitely mean here that all the members of the majority community are loyal to their motherland!)

"Telling minorities to get out every time we take offense only serves to weaken their already fragile sense of belonging to the nation."

Telling them 'that' is definitely wrong but even after70+ years of Indian Independence, why 'some' of them have a fragile sense of belonging to the nation (a nation that has had many Muslim Presidents and great leaders!), why is their allegiance with people of other countries (they don't raise their voices when there are atrocities against their own brethren of different subsects there) and why they wish to maintain that sense of 'separateness' in everything 'we' as Indians gladly and automatically do?

I believe politics is at the centre of all these; the infamous divide and rule policy!

Thanks. I am learning to move on without carrying too much of negativity. Still, it is like an allergy under control; keeps coming up occasionally.:crybaby2:
