Hi Deepthi, just came back to your post. Not sure if you are still active on the forum. Can you send me the name of the townhouse complex you live in? I would like to check it out and see how far it actually is from Irivine. Thanks.

    Cooks.

So Cooks did you ultimately move to Irvine or not ?

I am also in Long Island, NY and set to move to Irvine in the first week of May.

Deepthi - it would be great if you can share the name of your townhouse community since my requirements are also pretty similiar.

We might relocate to Irvine, CA. We are family of 3 and my daughter is in 1st grade. Which is the best school district in and around Irvine, CA, apartment near to that.

My daughter is learning piano, kumon and classical dance.

And last but not least, how much would be the monthly expenses - if any of you could give an approximate monthly exps to run a family of 3+1 is greatly appreciated.

Looking for a quick response :)

    SSubha,

Welcome to Irvine..I moved to Irvine 4 months before and did enough research about schools before coming(MY DS is in Grade 1)

Most of the Irvine Schools are rated 10/10 in Great Schools. Turtle Rock is the number one school here. However the apartments closer to it are pretty expensive. The other good schools are Alderwood, Deerfield, Northwood, Vistaverde and Plaza Vista, the last two being Year round schools.

You can check for apartments at www.irvinecompanyapartments.com

Most of the 2 BHK are around $2300.

All the best for your move.

Stonegate and Stonecreek are also good schools. Missed to mention in my earlier post
