Cooking in Naturalway[Pragrithy pajagam]

    UNAVE MARUNTHU.Food is the medicine.We can cure all diseases.All aluminium vessals used for preparing food should be avoided.Aluminium is harmful for health.
    Sugar,Maida are not good for health.White poison
    Tamarind,Red chilli also not good for health
    For soarness we can use tomato,mango,curd etc.,
    For hotness we can use green chilli removing seeds,ginger
    For sweetness we can use jaggary,honey etc.,Lots of fruits is good
    Whole wheat flour can be used.Lot of vegitables should be used as salad.
    Masalas should be avoided
    fenucreek,cumin,coriander,cardamum,dry ginger,oil,coconut may be used.
    Green gram dhal is best.
    All cooked food should be consumed before 3 hours afterwards the food begans to decaing.
    coffee,tea should be avoided for nature living.
    we may drink Nature coffee.
    In this limit we can make different tasty recipies.
    Avoid or atleast reduce the use of SOS [sugar, oil, salt]

    Mallikkappy or natual coffee

    We are salves of morning drink esspcially coffee.In the place of coffee we can drink nutritious natural coffee and satisfy ourselfs.

    Coriander 100 grm
    Fenugreek seeds 20gr
    Cumin seeds 20 gr
    Dry ginger 10gr
    Cardamum 10 nos.

    Dry roast all the increadians seperately and powder them.
    For one cup coffee boil the water with jaggary or Karuppatti [Karuppatti is very good] and add 3 grm coriander coffee powder.Remove from fire.If you want you may add milk.Drink in the morning.

    Herbal teas 1

    Jaggary syrup:1/2 kg jaggary one cup water.Put in a vessal and boil.When raw smell disappered when it bubbles remove from fire and strain.Keep in a sterlised bottle .This may be used for atleast one week.

    Thulsi tea or call it coffee

    Tulsi leave handful
    water 2 cup
    raisin few
    milk 1/2 cup

    Fresh leave should be washed and added with water.Bring to boil.Simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes.Strain and add milk jaggary syrup.
    Parijatha leave may be added with tulsi leave.It has a bitter taste.The parijatha leave is also good for asmatic problem.

    Dear seetha

    Honey with milk will add weight.I heard that one actress[ very lean ]gained weight by consuming fried dates.
    Gaining weight, very lean structure all depence upon the genes.
    Fat,nuts,oil seeds and starch rich food increases weight.
    But for healthy body needs alkaline food.Tender leafy vegetables, fruits.vegetables etc.,Acid forming food is hamful for heath.Therefore to be taken only sparingly.rice,wheat,pulses,meat,egg etc.

    ginger,mint tea

    Mint leave handful,milk 1/2 cup[optional]water 1 cup jaggery syrup,
    ginger 1 cm piece crushed

    Wash and cursh leave and ginger.Boil water and add crushed mint and ginger.Simmer for few mints.Strain add milk and jaggery syrup.

    help relieve bilious disorder.

    bran tea

    4 tea spoon of wheat bran or rice baran in one cup of water boil for 2 to 3 mits.stran add milk, jaggary syrup.

    in this method you can make jeera tea, dhania coffee, orangepeel tea, hibisgus tea, lotus peel tea.These tease are satvic drinks.e

    Ragi malt

    Wash ragi and Soak overnight.Wash and drain.Bundle it up in porus cloth and hang it up.Sprinkle water keeping it wet.Ragi germinate in two days,Spread this ragi in semi shade and allow to dry.This may be roasted till nice aroma comes out.Ground as powder and store.If it is powdered in the flour mill the heat will distroy the nutrients.
    Boil 1 cup water add two teaspoon ragi powder boil for five mits.cook well and add hot milk and jaggary syrup.Cardamum opowder may be added for flavour.
    Other grains as wheat,barley,maize also malted in the same way.A mixed malted drink also prepared as above.

    mixed vegitable soup

    chowchow,drumstick,cabbage,carrat,tomato,cauliflower,potato,snakegourd.Any
    of these available vegitables may be used.Cut them small pieces.Boil water add turmaric and add vegitables except tomato.boil when half cooked add tomato and cook till tender.remove from fire.Beat well.If you want thin soup add hot water.Soup may be eaten as gruel.The soup may be consumed as it is.It is very rich in fibre.If you want can be strained.Simmer again for a while.Add salt,coriander leaves,pepper jeera powder. If you like more sourness lime juice may be added.Buttermilk can be added.Or even coconut milk may be added insteaded of sourness.

    when the person soffering from fever or is feeling heavy coconut milk,butter milk should not be added
