    Dear friends...

we are going to do the wood work for our new home. It has 3 open shelves...where we decided to turn one shelf 6ft tall and 3ft breath into a pooja place. Suggestion required on

    1. Is it good idea to do like this (converting wardrobe space to pooja). Your practical experience plz
    2. Any drawback of doing this. My family has 6 adults and a kid.

    Thanks,
    Anicham.

hi der is something called stas wall hangign system .. which comes with a rail and a number of fixings... its costs starts from 2k i guess.... if u have this in place u can save a lot of space and arrange all the picture neatly without a single nail.. try googling abt it.. its a perfect choice for pooja room.. and while doing woodwork make sure ur carving out bell like shapes on the door and hang bells in the space...

    Hi anicham

It's a good idea to utilize the space as per our needs. But pay attention on the ventilation part bcoz we lit a lamp near god or may do aarati. Hence ensure that the is good amount of air flowing in and out.

    2) Remove if any doors or curtains near this place

I hope this helps you,Let me know if you need any suggestions.
