In brinjal if the flower is not pollinated properly it drops off.Try hand pollinating it.It takes a week for the brinjal to grow in to a medium size.

check for the seed variety you used,it mostly depends on the seed quality. Also the strength of the soil.

In brinjal i gently rub the flowers with hand carefully or else the flowers will fall.usually first few flowers fall off and then only they start to form brinjals. take a brush and gently rub the pollen from the stamen on the pistil.
The pistil is the female center of the flower -- the tip is called the stigma -- and this is what you must pollinate. The flowers on these plants can stay open for several days, so it's not a bad idea to repeat the process every day or so. You will know the process has worked if the flower closes but doesn't fall off the plant.

i haven't tried hand pollination in snake gourd.i too had a similar situation when the plant bloomed so many white flowers and all female/male flowers just dried up.i tried so many things but nothing happened.this time i planted it it in a different place and it worked and produced beautiful snake gourds. My chilli plants took more than a year to produce chillis.
